I am currently studying a PhD in Creative Writing with a view to becoming a University Professor. I have a Distinction (First) in Creative Writing from Brunel University and a First in English from Queen Mary University. I completed a 40,000 word novel for my MA under the supervision of writer Will Self and I am now in the process of getting it published.

Experience: I have written regularly for a number of publications, had my own work published by various magazines, worked for a distinguished publishing house, and spent the last few years tutoring in schools across London. I find tutoring thoroughly fulfilling and it has inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. As the eldest of five, I also spent a lot of time helping my siblings with their homework and would say I have a very kind, light-hearted and individually tailored approach to teaching.
