A little about me - very passionate about, and my life largely revolves around - maths and theoretical physics, music, nature, cycling, hiking, my guitar, motorbike, garden, and my pet ducks!

I am self employed, working freelance in the events industry; in production generally as a lighting designer/technician or onsite crew manager.

The recent coronavirus pandemic has put an abrupt end to the `gig` economy and has left me with ample time to pursue another passion of mine, teaching and getting young people passionate about life!

Experience: I have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Exeter University, and can tutor any areas of mathematics from school level, up to and including the foundation year for any maths based degree.

Previous experiences working with children include working as: an `explainer` at the Science Museum, a teaching assistant at Eaton House - The Vale, and spending a summer working at Long Lake Camp of The Arts in NY, USA.
