MSc and PhD in chemical engineering, and PGCE in secondary chemistry. Fully qualified and experienced teacher of Chemistry or Physics, working at Ofsted Outstanding Sixth Form College. Experience tutoring students online and in person for a number of years.

My tutorials involve:

- starter activity to get your brain into gear!
- clear concise explanations of detailed concepts
- exam technique and revision guidance
- past paper questions

Many of my students have gone onto study medicine, dentistry and veterinary science, or have gone to Oxbridge to study a variety of courses from Medicine, Maths, Chemistry and more.

For chemistry I currently teach OCR but am confident with any specification. I have experience of successfully tutoring both Edexcel and AQA specifications.

After studying chemical engineering at University and then doing a PhD in renewable energy, I made the best career decision I ever made in going into teaching. I`m an enthusiastic teacher, and love chemistry! I now have over 5 years experience teaching and have never looked back!

Availability: Weekday evenings. Earlier availability Wednesdays.

students to study at university, including students who have gone on to study chemistry, engineering, pharmacy and medicine and successfully support students to get into Oxbridge.
