Rishi

Hello, my name is Rishi! I`m in my third year of medicine at UCL and I am currently doing an iBSc in Oncology. I am very passionate about what I`m studying and love learning about the various scientific concepts which underpin medicine. I wish to help students achieve their potential and strive towards the top A* grade.
I sat the linear A level exams in biology and chemistry, and the modular maths A level. I know how difficult they can be to prepare for, but with a sound knowledge and the correct exam technique they are nothing to fear. I achieved A*s in these exams.
Having studied 12 subjects at GCSE, I know how daunting the GCSE exams can be and how time management is crucial during this period. I achieved 10A*s and 2 As, and am therefore confident I can pass on extra guidance to my GCSE students to help them thrive.
Since I have now embarked upon my chosen career in medicine, I know exactly how strenuous the application process is. I received offers from all 4 of the medical schools I applied to (UCL, Imperial, Bart`s and Nottingham), and so I am able to mentor students to progress throughout all stages of their medicine applications including the personal statement, UKCAT, BMAT and interviews.

Experience: I tutored in biology, chemistry and French in my time at sixth form and so have experience with tutoring. I have also tutored during my time at university.
