Information about David
Hi - I have 18 years` experience teaching Music and Music Technology in schools in the UK and abroad. An Oxford Music graduate, I specialise in teaching GCSE and A Level Music, A Level Music Technology, and Theory of Music (especially for the ABRSM Theory exams). I`m passionate about helping students to achieve the very best they can and have considerable success with helping students get excellent grades at GCSE, A Level, and university entrance (especially Oxbridge).
I also have lots of experience as an examiner: I`m currently an A Level Music examiner for Edexcel, a grade & diploma examiner for ABRSM, previously an A Level Music Technology examiner with Edexcel.
I`m equally at home teaching at your house, mine, or via Skype.
Availability: Weekday evenings, possibly Saturdays.

Experience: 18 years in Independent schools in the UK, Malaysia and India, including in Director of Music and Assistant Head roles. I also have lots of examining experience in Music and Music Technology up to A Level.

David Shoukry has provided exemplary tutoring for our Year 10 son to help him prepare for end-of-year G.C.S.E. exams. He is easy to contact and organise lessons with, punctual and reliable, and has a great, engaging manner with our son. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the subject and very flexible to adapt the lessons according to our son`s needs.
