I am an incoming PhD student in physics at Imperial College London. I have recently graduated from my undergraduate course at Imperial, and am looking to tutor science and maths in the West/Central London area, though I am willing to travel further.
I have a dynamic and interactive style of tutoring, as I think its crucial to stay engaged and interested in the topic. I believe in explaining topics, and giving small hints, rather than helping you through individual questions. In an ideal world, there will come a point when you no longer need my help!
I am a friendly and approachable person, but also very organised and professional. I pride myself on being very flexible, and will happily adapt my teaching style to fit you!
Availability: I am available weekday evenings, and weekends. However, I have a flexible job, and with prior planning, can accommodate most time slots. Just let me know whens best for you.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: - I have tutored several of my fellow Physics students during my undergraduate course, both helping them with individual pieces of work and general course understanding. Contact this Tutor
- Tutored a fellow A level student in mathematics, helping her improve from a B in her mock to an A* in her final exams.
- I hold a second degree black belt in taekwondo, and frequently took charge of lessons and taught more junior grades. This involves controlling a large group of very active students.
- I was a Duty Manager at Imperial College Union, which involved training a team of 70 student staff to fulfil certain targets.
