I give private lessons in your home, covering all primary subjects, to children of any primary age and ability.

During the summer holidays I will be offering daytime lessons as a short term option to help prepare your child for the upcoming school year or to support them with closing any gaps they may have from the previous year. Please message me if you are interested in these classes.



I am a patient, consistent and thorough teacher who enjoys tailoring the lessons I give to each individual pupil. My lessons will usually begin with me modelling the work to the pupil and then guiding them through a similar example before asking them to demonstrate their understanding to me. I will always try to apply the work to a real life context and include resources or subject matter that is interesting for the pupil.

I think there is nothing more pleasing than watching children make progress, gain in confidence and to see them independently completing work they previously found difficult.

Experience: I am an experienced teacher who has taught in schools in England, Spain and the USA. I have been a classroom based teacher and assistant headteacher for 18 years. I have successfully taught hundreds of students from the age of 3-11. All of my students make excellent progress in all subject areas.
