I am an outgoing and social person who relishes a challenge. As such, my teacher training years were with Teach First, a charity that aims to address educational disadvantage by placing trainees in schools under challenging circumstances. This experience enhanced my positive outlook of life and the impact I can make with every child.

I also have a thirst for knowledge and the willingness of learning new skills. I regularly spend time learning how to code, particularly in regards to physical computing – making a drum kit out of fruits has been the most enjoyable so far. I particularly spend time playing my piano, learning a range of genres from Classical (Bethena Waltz) to Musicals (Wicked).

Availability: With the exception of weekday mornings, I am available all day each day.

Experience: Currently being a qualified teacher in the primary sector, I take pride in my ability to identify gaps and strengths in my tutees. Using this information, I ensure they are effectively supported or challenged in order to make progress, reaching their targets. I particularly believe my successes are due to my extensive experience in rapport building no matter their age; this has led many times to increased motivation from the children.
