Hi! My name is Beth and I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2018 with a high 2:1 degree in French and Spanish. I achieved 14 GCSE`s (all A-C) and have A Levels in History, French, Spanish as well as an AS Level in English Literature.

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading and cooking and have a real passion for languages.

Availability: I am available Monday - Thursday from 5:30pm onwards.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have 1 year experience working and living in both France and Spain, where I immersed myself into both cultures and thus drastically improved my language skills. I studied modules in both French and Spanish Translation and Interpreting, meaning that my Grammar and Vocabulary knowledge in both languages is excellent. I also studied modules in both French and Spanish culture / history.

I have experience in tutoring beginners in both languages during my time in France and Spain. Learning a language can be tough - but I would like to make both subjects enjoyable and will therefore respect all individual learning styles and paces. Improving confidence and competency in both of these subjects are the two key focuses of my tutoring. My background means I can try to improve the way that French and Spanish are both taught and understood and will hopefully help tutees find the subjects that little bit more understandable!
