Information about June
I have 12 years teaching experience and 9 years experience managing a successful science department. I have also been doing private home tuition since 2010. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a research scientist in the field of cancer immunotherapy. I believe that science education should be engaging, relevant to the student`s everyday lives and foster an appreciation of how science can benefit future generations.
Availability: Weekends - 10am - 6.00pm, Weekdays - evenings after 4.00pm
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I began teaching science full-time since 2002 and I have been head of science in an 11-16 secondary school since 2006. I also have 6 years experience of very successful 1:1 home tuition.

June taught my daughter Biology,Chemistry and Physics to my daughter for her iGCSEs. She was very good,providing plenty of resources and helped my daughter understand and improve her knowledge with the end result in her getting all A* for the summer exams.I would highly recommend her.She was always flexible and arrived on time.

I received tuition from June during my A2 whilst studying my A levels. I was struggling with exam techniques, specifically in Biology. June was very helpful, supportive, and flexible in her approach to teaching.
