I am fully qualified Primary school teacher. I worked in years 3 and 4 but taught all ages across school for different subjects. I qualified as a teacher with a PGCE from Durham University in 2014 and have a degree in Psychology from University of York (2013). I have experience working with SEN and EBD children and if you child has additional needs we can work on strategies to support them in class.

I am enthusiastic and work to create lessons that are not only personalised to your child but are most importantly fun! Learning is different for everyone, and so I love to find a style that works best for the individual. My lessons are practical and engaging and I use a lot of resources, mnemonics, games and songs to embed learning principles.

I am also a grade 8 cellist and can teach to grade 6 level. I was also head of music at my school and can teach primary music and beginners guitar, piano, ukulele, steel pans and music theory. In my spare time I am a keen artist and love to draw and paint as well as playing my instruments.
