Information about Daniel
I am a friendly, down-to-earth teacher who is very enthusiastic about Maths! I get on well with my pupils and believe that everyone can achieve in Maths given the correct explanations and work. I can not only help with making concepts clearer but I can also provide quality, focused practice questions differentiated to the appropriate level. If you have a clear idea on your weaknesses this is a fantastic start, however by informing me of your desired grade I can quickly hone in on the key topics to help you succeed. I strongly believe that in order for pupils to really benefit from tutoring, they must not see it as `an hour, once a week` experience; but must be willing to complete additional practice in-between sessions in order to consolidate learning.
Availability: I am possibly available during the days or evenings for the short-term future. This would be very helpful to those worried about their child falling behind with the school closures. My availability will change week to week, so please ask.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been a Maths teacher for 11 years, successfully teaching GCSE classes every year, as well as Maths and Further Maths A-Level for the past 8 years. I work in a high attaining school and have high standards, always pushing my pupils to achieve the highest grade possible. I am very confident in all aspects of the new GCSE specification, as well as A-Level Maths - including Mechanics and Statistics - and Further Maths.
