I am a very experienced English Language and Literature teacher able to teach from KS1 up to GCSE and Adult learning. I am very familiar with the specifications of all exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, Edugas and Functional Skills requirements along with being an AQA English examiner. Being able to teach for success is my priority and I have been awarded and commended for many years of success my students have achieved. For students learning English as an additional language, my CELTA qualification enables me to support their needs too.

My student`s success is the key goal to my teaching and I am driven to attaining the best results for my students by guiding and moulding their learning towards high attainment.

Availability: Weekdays- Monday - Friday:10am - 8pm

Saturday and Sunday: 9am - 4pm

The length of each session can be adapted accordingly.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: As an award-winning educator and with 20+ years experience in education, most of my students exceed their target grades and ultimately attain grades 7-9 in their GCSE English Language and Literature grades. Their success is my success and I pride myself on that ethos. I am able to teach Literature texts such as Frankenstein, An Inspector Calls, Jekyll and Hyde, Blood Brothers, Animal Farm, Macbeth, Romeo and Juilet along with many other classic literary texts.
