I have been working for a tuition agency for two years. I tutor Maths and English at various Primary Schools around London, working mostly with year 4 and 5 students, as well as helping year 6 students prepare for their SATs. I have previously tutored English and Maths at Mulberry Primary School, Winterbourne Boys` Academy, Roding Primary, Nelson Primary and Lucas Vale Primary.

I also have a number of private clients, aged between 5 and 11 years old. While some of these students are preparing for 7+ and 11+ exams, others use the sessions reinforce the work they do at school.

My approach is to tailor the lessons to the needs of each individual student, after working with them to identify areas they are less confident in and making a plan for the next several sessions together. Having worked with many different learners I am aware that people understand and retain information differently. It is therefore important to find the appropriate approach for each individual student. I work to build the learner`s confidence in the subject and to give them suitable methods of learning.

Availability: Evenings and weekends. Day times in summer holidays.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Primary English and Maths, 11+ English and Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
