I live in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire with my wife and two sons. I have a very happy life teaching music to many different people from young children just starting out on their musical journey to advanced music students or proffesionals trying to keep their musical skills up amidst a busy schedule to retired people learning a new hobby with some time on their hands.

Which ever the learning situation each student is unique and I am committed to getting everyone who works with me to a level where they can really say they have achieved something. I believe anyone can play an instrument well - it just takes a bit of trial and error, some patience and a will to succeed!

Availability: I currently teach everyday except Sunday and have various available times during the daytimes and evenings

Experience: I have 20 years experience teaching music to learners of all ages and ability levels. I have taught in schools and privately all around the Hertfordshire and London areas. I have taken students up to grade 8 and beyond as well as seeing them though their A Level music courses. Some of my students have gone onto form bands or play in orchestras or other ensembles.

I have trained in jazz and classical traditions as well as folk styles from around the world and am confident I can help learners develop any style they are interested in.
