Qualified teacher of GCSE English Language and Literature
I am a highly experienced and fully qualified English teacher, who is currently employed as a Head of English. I have been teaching for 18 years. I have extensive knowledge of the current GCSE specifications for both English Literature and English Language as well as the curriculum requirements at KS3. I have a proven track record of excellent results in the classroom. I have taught students from a range of different abilities, including high achievers and students who have specific learning difficulties.
I am also an experienced English tutor. I currently have a 100% pass rate.
In addition to this, I am employed as an examiner for two exam boards. This experience gives me an excellent understanding of the GCSE requirements.
I aim to build confidence in English by teaching a range of different strategies and techniques to help students make rapid progress
Availability: Monday - Thursday 5pm - 9pm
Friday 5pm- 7pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am-12pm
