Information about Niall

**Niall, Ph.D.**

I utilise a hybrid form (authoritarian/facilitator) of teaching style depending on the environment (one-to-one, lecture hall, laboratory setting).

My behaviour management is demonstrated by forming strong relationships with students and being passionate about the subject material.

I attained the sole 4th year Univeristy undergraduate 1st class honours in Inorganic Chemistry from Maynooth University (formerly National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM)) in 2008.

I obtained a fully funded Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Ph.D. studentship in 2008 to conduct research on development of conducting nanowire polymer films for use in biosensor/drug delivery systems. This lead to 2 articles published in high impact scientific journals.

My grant writing during this time achieved further funding from SFI, securing the position of Visiting Researcher at the Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Irleand and this resulted in the dissemination of this work at both international and national conferences.

I was awarded the sole Ph.D. in Chemistry from Maynooth University (formerly National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM)) in 2014.
My Ph.D. in Chemistry was awarded without corrections/amendments.

I am an Associate Member of Royal Society of Chemistry and a Member of International Society of Electrochemistry.
I am an exercise enthusiast that enjoys weight-training, yoga and tag-rugby. I am also a music enthusiast, playing guitar and drums, while performing music recording and production on digital audio workstation.

I am dedicated to performing high quality lecturing and supervision as I have excellent fundamental understanding and problem-solving abilities.
I also have a passion for innovative, high quality applications-based research and I am currently located in London.

Thank you for your consideration. If you require any further information, please contact me.

Best regards,

Niall
