I am enrolled on the TeachFirst Leadership Development Programme and have been teaching secondary science at a local secondary school for one year. Before this, I completed a MSci Neuroscience degree at the University of Bristol with 2:1 honours. I live with my other half who is studying mathematics at Cardiff University and also tutors mathematics if interested.

I took higher level Biology, Psychology and Chemistry (6, 5, 4 respectively) and standard level English, Spanish and Mathematics (6, 5, 4 respectively) for the International Baccalaureate qualification instead of traditional A-levels. I am happy to tutor for these subjects as well.

Availability: I am free all day most weekends (given warning) and all weekday after school and evenings although sometimes tutee sessions are booked (the specificities of these bookings vary).

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have tutored 5 previous students a level biology with WJEC and AQA exam boards. I am currently a secondary science teacher at a central Cardiff school teaching 11-16 year olds on the WJEC specification.

I have much experience in working with children from leading YMCA summer schools to delivering workshops about university life to primary and secondary schools.

I have also worked as a student ambassador and in the recruitment office for the University of Bristol for 3.5 years. This included aspects of teaching on an informal basis.
