I`m 19 and currently studying maths at Durham University. I achieved 11 A*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Having taken my GCSE and A level exams in the last few years, I still have a very detailed understanding of exactly what you need to know for the exams, I know the best methods and techniques for doing well in exams, and most importantly, I can help to find the best ways for you to both understand and remember the subject material. I achieved 100% in maths A level and close to 100% in further maths A level, so I should also have answers to every question you might want to ask.

Over the last few years, I have worked with a whole range of different students ranging from age 8 to 18. I`ve helped people increase their test scores by over 50%, I`ve helped people move up sets, and I`ve taken on people who didn`t know how to revise and I`ve taught them how to learn. Last year, I took a gap year and tutored maths for 10-15 hours per week, helping many of my students to achieve A* grades at GCSE and A level in what was a very challenging year due to Covid.

I have learned through my experience that each student is different. Everyone learns in a different way, and everyone needs slightly different explanations to fully understand. I think that my strongest attribute is my ability to adapt to each student`s needs. I have a clear understanding of every topic which allows me to come up with a multitude of different ways of explaining each concept. If you don`t understand something I will come at it from every possible angle until we find a way for you to understand.

Being young and enthusiastic has really helped me connect with my students and I think that being of a similar age group to them has helped me develop a really strong understanding with all of them. I believe that it is easier for me to understand their difficulties and concerns because I have been through all the same experiences in the last few years.

Experience: I`ve been tutoring for a few years now and have experience tutoring students from ages 8-18. I`ve tutored maths and all sciences from secondary school entrance exams to GCSE and A level standard. I took a gap year last year, and did maths tutoring as a part time job for 10-15 hours per week.
