I am a First Class Oxford Mathematics graduate with experience tutoring Maths at a variety of different levels. I also have experience preparing students for the Oxbridge admissions process and for Mathematics admissions tests such as the MAT and the TMUA. I am a friendly and approachable tutor and I am passionate about sharing my love for Maths. From my own experience, Maths is a subject which requires hard work to understand and appreciate so I really focus on building resilience and self-confidence in my students. Developing transferable skills, such as problem solving skills, is also key to my approach. The students should see that as their Mathematics ability improves, so does their performance in their other subjects.

Experience: I achieved 4A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and went on to obtain a First Class MMath Mathematics degree from the University of Oxford. I have experience tutoring Mathematics online and in-person from Primary to A-Level. I have worked for Oxford and the AMSP as a MAT mentor, and I have experience tutoring students online for the MAT and other Mathematics admissions tests. During my time at Oxford, I was an ambassador for both my college and the Mathematics department so I am very familiar with the admissions process. I also have experience teaching students whose first language isn`t English. In 2018, I taught English in China for a few months and last summer I taught Mathematics at a respected international summer school based at Eton College.
