I am an experienced, engaging and charismatic tutor, who can offer great quality tutoring for a very reasonable price. I aim to make learning both fun and enjoyable, whilst maintaining a high level of depth and precision during the sessions.
I have a thorough understanding of the AQA GCSE English specification and of the Edexcel GCSE Maths and Drama specifications, with access to the alternative specifications and exam boards and an eagerness to dissect and learn them!
I am now on a gap year, wherein I am working part-time as a nanny and part-time as a tutor, whilst developing myself as a young adult. I plan to begin university study in London next year, where I hope to study Acting.
I aim to provide sessions which are both engaging and educational for your child. I create and curate material from a number of different sources, including a plethora of resources acquired through my own studies, that I found useful and beneficial.
The atmosphere of my sessions is reasonably casual, as I believe the best way to engage and educate a student is to form a strong professional relationship with them, building a mutual respect and acknowledgment of each others skills and weaknesses.

Availability: My current availability is from 5:30pm on weekdays.

Experience: I have an extensive history in Drama and performance study, as well as an equally extensive history in the tuition of these disciplines. I currently teach 7-11 year olds Drama at a local, part-time performing arts school, and established the first extra-curricular Drama club at my school. In addition, I have tutored many kids through GCSE Drama, and having completed my A Level feel confident to do so for these students too.
I tutor at Explore Learning, teaching Maths and English to over 20 children each week.
I have tutored English to a number of students in secondary and GCSE education, helping with both the study of literature and foundational language skills. I have also taught 2 EAL students. References are available for English tuition.
I also offer Maths tuition, with experience in both the primary and KS3 curriculum. I have a deep enjoyment and understanding of Maths, which makes me a suitable tutor for your child.
