I have 15 years experience as an English teacher in schools and adult education. I have recently begun tutoring GCSE English and dyslexia support online to both children and adults. I have always enjoyed the challenge of teaching those who find literacy difficult. I qualified as a specialist dyslexia teacher in 2021 and am a professional member of the British Dyslexia Association. I participate in regular Continuing Professional Development to ensure my teaching knowledge and methods stay up to date.

I like to work with students on a one to one basis as the benefit gained from individualised learning is enormous. Seeing progress in my learners, and even better when they see their own progess, is for me what teaching is all about.
