Cambridge graduate with experience of tutoring A-level Biology. I am friendly and approachable, and enjoy breaking down tricky concepts for students.

My teaching style involves designing lessons specifically tailored to the student`s needs, whilst giving plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I am very open to students` feedback and will base the lesson around what the student feels they need most. This can include revising familiar topics, learning new ones, and practicing exam questions together.

Relevant qualifications:

- 1st Class BA in Natural Sciences (Psychology).
Biological subjects include Physiology, Cell Biology, and Evolution.

- A-levels: 3A*s, 2As in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, French, and German.

- GCSEs: 8A*s, 4As.

Experience: I am currently tutoring A-level Biology and A-level Psychology with the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative (CTI), which provides voluntary tutoring to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition, I recently assisted sixth form students with their personal statements as part of Woodhouse College`s Personal Statement Support Programme.

I have also worked as a gymnastics coach (Level 1 coaching qualification) since 2016, which has involved working with children aged 3-18. As a result of the recent lockdowns, I have experience teaching both in person and on Zoom.

In the past I have worked as a teaching assistant at the German Saturday School in Hackney (DSSH). I am currently working towards a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification, with the intention of tutoring English online.
