I am a native German speaker and live since 5 years in the UK and would like to offer now my assistance to everyone who would like to improve their level of German understanding, writing and speaking. I can teach German from primary level up to A-level and also tutor adult learners. I offer one to one sessions as well as online tutoring. Tutorials can be held in your own home or at a mutual convenience location like libraries or cafes.

I tutor an academic hour of 50 minutes and allow an additional 10 minutes for feedback and discussion with the parents about the students progress. I am happy to tutor a maximum of 2 students simultaneously for a charge of 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Mileage is charged at 45p per mileage if it exceeds a 5-mile radius from my home.

Experience: I enjoyed tutoring pupils in Maths, English and Biology while studying in Germany. Currently, I am tutoring few private students as well as work at the German Saturday School, supporting 8-14-year-old boys and girls to improve their German speaking skills.

I tailor my tutoring session according to the learners needs, hence, I would like to understand from you what you would like to achieve and to focus on. In general, a session combines elements of listening & speaking, reading & writing as well as grammar exercises. Depending on the age group I use a playful approach to making learning more fun.
