I have a degree in Education (B.Ed.Hons 2.1) I also have a Certificate in Education with distinctions in Biology and Teaching Practice.I offer friendly and relaxed tuition designed to instil my students with confidence.I ensure that topics are discussed fully to ensure a good understanding before moving on. Students have the opportunity to work through past exam papers.
Availability: Most weekdays and Saturday mornings

Experience: I am a retired Head of Science, having taught Biology to A level, and combined science. For the last 12 years I have been giving private tuition in GCSE Biology,Chemistry and Physics. My students have all obtained grades A-C and 66.7% obtained grades A-B.Under the new grading system 60% obtained grade 8 and 9, and 40% obtained grade 6 ( several up from grade 2/3 at start of tuition)

John Morgan has been a great help to my son for biology . Initially, my son was struggling with linking the knowledge he had for the syllabus to exam technique and how to utilise his knowledge to maximise his marks. This is where John really helped him succeed. Regularly setting useful exam question that frequently comes up helped familiarise my son with the marks schemes and how examiners will mark answers. His patience and his desire to help made my son feel comfortable enough to ask any questions to ensure there were no areas where he didn`t understand.
