I am a recent graduate of UCL Medical School soon to start the academic foundation programme. I have achieved a merit in each year of medical school and was awarded a distinction in clinical sciences for my performance in 4th year and 5th year, a distinction in clinical practice for performance in final year as well as finishing 3rd in the year. During my iBSc year I was awarded the Deans list for finishing in the top 5% and the Deans project prize for the best research project.
I have a strong track record in the sciences which I attribute to my passion for the subject. My primary objective is to help other students achieve their full potential and as such I have been tutoring since the age of 17.
Having been through the educational system here myself I understand the importance of making lessons as stimulating and dynamic as possible. I always try to employ teaching methods that will promote understanding over rote memorisation as from experience I have found that this leads to stronger retention of information. As each student is fundamentally different I strive to ensure that my approach is tailored to the student that I am teaching.
Along with covering the theoretical aspect of the topic in question I always allocate time towards the application of knowledge as from experience I have found that although many students are comfortable with the course content, they often struggle with the application of the theory.
I believe the fact that I am approachable and easy to talk to aids in the development of a good rapport with those who I tutor. This, with my experience of tutoring students, means I am well equipped to help you/your child achieve great results this year.

Availability: Weekends are the best for me however I am willing, if necessary, to come on weekdays.
