Information about Trudy
I live in a village in Norfolk and have been teaching GCSE level maths from my home for 7 years. I struggled with maths as a child, but learnt to love the subject as an adult whilst studying with the Open University. I grew passionate about the subject and want to pass on my passion.
Availability: I am available during weekday days and evenings.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: In 2013 I completed my degree and studied PTLLS with Norfolk adult education. I then started tutoring maths from my home. It is a career which I really enjoy and I have received very positive feed back from my students. During the 2020 lockdown I have been continuing my tutoring using Skype and have also created a free tutorial session for students who are unable to go to school. Embracing the technology has been a challenge, but it seems to be working well.

I cannot rate Trudy highly enough, I am so thankful I found her, my son was in need of help with his maths & it took me a while to persuade him to get the help he needed, so I was a little worried how he would take/commit to it, but due to Trudys unbelievably lovely, kind, patient nature he took to it immediately & it wasnt long before he was actually enjoying going, I never would have imagined this as its a subject that he has always struggled with & it was effecting his overall confidence at school, Trudy is everything you would want in a tutor, not only was she completely focused on giving my son the teaching & support he needed, she was incredibly kind, patient & really cared about my son & wanted to give him the total best, not only did his ability/grades improve in maths, his overall confidence as a person did, massively, & this isnt just down to Trudys ability to teach maths, but her as a person, she has been an amazing role model, me & my son will miss going to see her, as due to Trudys amazing work & wonderful nature he has past his GCSE maths exam, which he never would have done without her, & I will be forever grateful.
