Who am I?
Hi there! I`m Ronni and I`m a second year French and Italian student at Pembroke College, Oxford University. I`ve studied French for 8 years, including spending my gap year in Paris, and started Italian at University as an ab initio student - though don`t worry, by second year, we beginners have all caught up with the post A-level students, thanks to some amazing tutors of our own!

What can I help you with?
Language learning can be so rewarding when you`re taught by someone who loves the language they are teaching and who has the time to concentrate on any particular issues you`re having. 1:1 tutorials can be absolutely brilliant for languages, and we can work on exactly the areas you feel you need the most help with. As a non-native speaker, I will be able to more easily understand the problems you are having and better explain grammar points since I have learnt the language methodically as you have, rather than naturally picking it up - I don`t know about you but I`d be hard pressed to explain the English subjunctive if asked by a French person!

I`m also available as a tutor for foreign language literature, English Language and Literature and History since I have a real passion for these subjects! Literature and film analysis makes up over half of my Oxford degree so I am certainly well placed to give you a helping hand.

Overall, I aim to set you up with greater language confidence and analysis skills, working over any issues you have which are just that much harder to address when a teacher has a full classroom.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I was an au pair for 3 French children for 6 months, which included helping them with their English teaching and homework, and have also tutored older French children who had no English. I am also an online tutor in the above subjects for another tutoring website.
