I’m a native Russian speaker from Estonia with over 25 years of teaching experience, including more than 10 years in the UK and 5 years teaching in an English school. I understand the UK education system and teaching standards, which helps English-speaking students feel comfortable and understand even difficult aspects of Russian clearly.

I hold degrees in Pedagogy and Psychology and have completed official Pearson training for GCSE and A-Level Russian. I regularly attend Pearson examiner-led training and specification updates, so my teaching is always aligned with the latest exam requirements and examiner expectations.

I have successfully prepared over 100 students for Russian exams, with my students consistently achieving A* at A-Level and Grade 9 at GCSE.

My lessons are individually tailored and strongly exam-focused, covering speaking, translation, essay writing, IRP and exam technique. I focus on exactly what each student needs to improve to maximise their marks and achieve the highest possible result.

I am DBS checked and safeguarding certified.

Availability: I am available from 5pm every working day.

Experience: Before moving to the UK, I worked as a school psychologist in Estonia, supporting students with learning difficulties and teaching Psychology. In the UK, I spent five years working in an English school, giving me a strong understanding of the British education system.

I have completed numerous Pearson training courses for GCSE and A-Level Russian and continue to attend their latest training and updates. I also have access to current Pearson teaching and exam-preparation materials, which I use to keep my students fully prepared for their exam
