I am currently in medical school and I absolutely love my degree and thoroughly enjoy learning about the human body through a medical lens. This also means that I am no stranger to knowing how challenging exams can be for students. I have 4 years of tutoring experience in A-Level Biology, GCSE Sciences, GCSE English Literature, Anatomy & Physiology at degree level. I have mentored many students through the medical school application process- including the UCAT, BMAT, personal statement writing, and interview preparation.

My favourite subject in school was English Literature and I still have a huge passion for it so you`ll always find me reading a good book when I`m free! I found exams to be challenging in school and this forced me to focus on finding my learning and revision style and utilise it to get into medical school. This has allowed me to really understand how students learn in different ways and I try to incorporate this into adapting my teaching style to suit each individual person.

I like to explain key concepts in a visual way and make sure core understanding is there before throwing exam questions at students. I then will aim to bring grades up by looking at exam questions to allow students to apply their knowledge and gain the marks needed. I am more than happy to use drawings, flowcharts, mindmaps etc during my teaching sessions and will always be well-prepared for a session.
