Hi, my name is Zoë and I am a 23 Year old Graduate from Cambridge University, currently studying for an MSc in Global Environment, Politics and Society. I am an enthusiastic, personable and caring individual who enjoys working with young people. I am a Humanities tutor for multiple subjects (History, English, Politics & Geography) at varying levels. My specialism is History and therefore I can also tutor this at a degree level.

In June 2018 I graduated with a high 2.1 (First Class in my Special Subject Long Essay) in a degree in History (BA Hons) from Homerton College, University of Cambridge.

Before Cambridge I attended Walthamstow Hall Senior School for Girls where I took A-levels/The Cambridge Pre-U and my GCSES/IGCSES.
At A-Level/Cambridge Pre-U I gained A*AA
[History (D2/A*), English (D3/A), Government & Politics (A)] & an A in AS-Level Drama

At GCSE/IGCSE I gained 8 A*s (English Language & Literature, Double Science, R.S., Drama, Geography, History) & 3 As (Mathematics, Spanish & Fine Art)

Experience: I have significant experience working with young people; both as a babysitter/childminder and as an academic mentor. I have multiple character references on request and have been fully DBS checked & approved.

I have experience giving homework help to those in varying points in their education. Whilst at school I was a permanent weekend babysitter/childminder for a family and would regularly assist them with their studies. In my Upper Sixth I was appointed Deputy Head Girl of the school and part of my role was to mentor younger year groups, looking out for them in a pastoral care capacity but also academically. I specifically was a mentor for multiple girls in the lower sixth and helped them with their university UCAS applications/ proof-reading personal statements; several of these required help and advice for Oxbridge applications.

While at University I was part of my college`s Target and Access outreach programme where I performed many tours for younger school children/sixth formers & prospective students and their parents. Firsthand I was able to give anecdotal advice and encouragement for their pursuits to continue their education at a higher level. As a member of the access and outreach programme I also therefore was lucky enough to sit on multiple workshops and talks giving advice about university applications, specifically those to Oxbridge. I therefore believe I am well-versed with useful, practical up-to-date advice about Oxbridge (and general UCAS) applications.

I truly believe in the importance of education & would like to try to do everything I can to assist a student meeting their personal academic goals and fulfil any grade or exam requirements they need. I will do everything I can to help. I have a strong track record with tutoring and have successfully helped students meet their target grades at GCSE and to get into University (raising one student`s grade from a D to an A in History A-Level).
