Information about Benjamin
Each lesson will be carefully prepared to suit your learning style and designed to be the right level of difficulty for you. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and a 2:1 in mathematics at Edinburgh University which will become official this summer. I wouldn`t have made it into a top university without some great teachers through my time in high school, so I am here to pass on that opportunity to others. I achieved A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics A levels and have expert knowledge in both GCSE and A-level Maths as well as wider knowledge in statistics and finance topics. I also teach Scottish Nat 5s ,Advanced Highers and highers.
Availability: Unfortunately I am unlikely to be available for the forseeable future.

Experience: I am proud to say I have succesfully helped a variety of students to make signigicant progress and build their confidence in maths, which in turn usually leads to an improvement in their grade. This motivates me to keep teaching as many people as I can.
I am very familiar with the structure of A levels and GCSEs and have lots of tips for maximising exam technique, such as, quick ways to reverse engineer your answers, to help narrow down where your mistake is. I previously tutored GCSE,A-level,National 5 and Higher maths across a variety of exams boards. I have also taught Further Maths A-levelf for Statistics and Pure Modules and would be open to teaching Mechanics.

My daughter has Benjamin as a tutor for Further Maths (GCSE). He is really patient, explains things very clearly. Overall, very helpful and she enjoys her lessons with him. We are still a few months away from her GCSEs. Happy to provide an update after her exams!
