I work closely with students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This enables me personalise their lessons. Although students often find it tempting to focus efforts on stronger areas, I am a strong believer in supporting my students to focus their efforts on their areas of weakness so there is a greater potential for improvement. Using the course specification together with other resources including exam materials, we will identify key areas for improvement.

I will encourage and support students to focus first on improving knowledge and understanding before moving on to exam technique and skills.

I have been teaching for 14 years and enjoy passing on my enthusiasm for Biology and my broad knowledge base to my students.

Availability: I am available most evenings with the flexibility to move lessons if the need arises. I am happy to do a one off weekend lesson if needed.

Experience: I am a qualified Science teacher with 14 years teaching experience in Hertfordshire, teaching KS3 and KS4 Science and A-level Biology.

I have been tutoring for 4 years and have very happy students who have achieved their targeted grades at the end of their course.
