I have several years experience tutoring students of varying abilities for KS3 and GCSE English Literature and Language, as well as A Level English Literature. Since graduating with a Masters in English Literature (distinction), I decided I love the subject so much that I want to help others find their passion for English-that`s why I`m here!

I am currently tutoring GCSE English Language and Literature, as well as A Level English Literature. I cover a wide range of exam boards and texts, as well as exam and coursework technique to help students maximise their potential and improve their grades.

My top priority is to provide a strong foundation and unbreakable confidence so you can tackle stressful exams with ease and achieve fantastic results. The tutoring style I offer is engaging and diverse, and I will adapt my approach around your learning style. I know my own experience with a tutor in Chemistry really helped build confidence and understanding of a subject that had unfortunately been made daunting by an unpleasant teacher, and I would love to help students in a similar way, especially considering the challenges students face following COVID-19.

I also offer guidance sessions for students who need help with personal statements. Personally, I have received multiple unconditional offers from universities (including courses with extremely competitive places), so I am well versed with what universities are looking for and how to market yourself to increase the likelihood of getting your dream university offer.

Experience: I have been tutoring through the TutorHunt website for two years now, helping students gain confidence and develop their skills in English Literature and Language. I have helped many students transform their grades and attitude towards English through creating a supportive space for students to learn. I consider my biggest professional achievement to be that by the time many of my students have come to sit their exams, they leave their time with me loving a subject they once hated!

Previously, I tutored through another tutoring agency online, where I taught GCSE AQA English Language and Literature weekly to students of varying abilities. This is incredibly rewarding as I have been able to help school students who are struggling in school as a result of the pandemic regain confidence in themselves and in English. I also have some experience tutoring peers at college which helped my students secure places at university (references can be provided upon request).
