Hello There,

My name is Edwin and I am a Computer science University Student and I love it! We have to use various different subject knowledge to program software, using programming languages. At University, as a hobby, I love playing table tennis and going for long walks (countryside areas) with my friends. This helps clear my mind and refreshes my mind.

I know taking exams could be difficult and nerve-racking, but don`t worry. I have also gone through the same experience. Therefore, I understand what you are going through. I will help you overcome any challenges you have with problems regarding exam-style questions and teach you some techniques that have helped me during exams.

Experience: With four years of dedicated tutoring experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Religious Education, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students across all grade levels, from KS1 to GCSE. My expertise includes preparing students for the 11+ exams, as well as providing comprehensive support in KS2 and KS3 curricula.

During my tenure with MyTutor and GoStudent, I have consistently maintained a 5-star rating, reflecting my commitment to fostering a positive and effective learning environment. My approach is tailored to each student’s unique needs, allowing me to cultivate their understanding and confidence in these subjects. When we first meet, I would introduce myself and get a nice conversation going to get rid of any awkward feelings we may have. Then I would like you to tell me which topic you are finding difficult to understand. If you can`t think of any, don`t worry, I would happily look at the syllabus/exam board you are studying and select a topic from there to teach you. When we work through questions, I would do it alongside you, so at the end, we can compare our workings and figure out where you may have gone wrong. I will also try to give some mini-tests to measure your progress. There is no need to worry about this, as this will be a short 10-20 minute quiz. We look at this and see if we need to go over some of the topics again.
