Information about Aysha
I am currently studying for my PhD in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. I already hold an MSc in Biochemical Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from UCL. For my A-levels I studied Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and History.
I feel it is very important to teach students exam technique as well as helping them understand their course material. Very often students will understand the concepts but are not able to translate that in exams by not answering questions in the manner the examiner wants them to.
I love working with kids and young adults and take a special delight in encouraging them to do their best.
Availability: Weeknights and weekends
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I used to volunteer at a nursery and at a primary school. I also have 6 years tutoring experience in GCSEs and A-levels.

I am disappointed to say that I was tutored for about 8 months and unfortunately I did not improve in chemistry. I felt she wanted to finish the syllabus regardless of whether I understood the material. She pushed for lessons that I didn`t want. And her notes and h/w questions were from a book I already had. Overall I feel I would have done the same in my exams without having to spend so much money on tuition.
