I am a graduate of the English and Drama BA at Bristol University and MA at Leeds University in Writing for Performance and Publication. I have 3 A Level`s at A and above, including an A in Drama and an A* in English, and 12 GCSE`s A-A*, including two A* in English and an A in drama.

I now work between Hull and Bristol as a freelance, educator, writer, and practitioner, as well as running my own theatre company. I have several years teaching experience, with excellent feedback and results. I have a passionate interest in English, Drama, and Creative Writing, and a good knowledge of the skills necessary to succeed in these subjects from Primary to Degree level.

Availability: Available Weekdays, Week nights and Weekends.

Experience: I have extensive experience of tutoring Drama and English to a variety of clients of all ages. I am an educator and practitioner for NCS the Challenge where I devise, tailor, and deliver a special programme to teenagers. I have experience of facilitating both drama and creative writing workshops for all ages.

Through my job as a Horse Riding Instructor I have 11 years experience teaching both practical and academic skills to all ages and abilities including SEN students. I am fully DBS checked.

I believe in a practical approach to learning and my approach is completely tailored to your needs as a tutee. I am happy to help by providing feedback on the structure and content of essays and coursework. I can help with tactics for close reading and analysis. I can help to prepare you for assessment through mock questions, and a focus on exam criteria, time management and clarity of expression.
