I am a retired head of department from Barton Peveril Sixth Form College. I have a Geography degree from Birmingham University and I have taught Geography since 1973. Recently I have concentrated on A-level geography, tutoring students studying OCR, AQA and Edexcel syllabi. I am fully conversant with the new Geography syllabi. I am available for catchup over the summer if required.

I have also worked as a software engineer. I have recently taught and tutored A-level Computing for approximately eleven years. I enjoy teaching programming both for AQA and OCR. I program in Visual Basic..

I have been teaching AQA A-level Environmental Science for the past 4 years and enjoyed this very much.

I prefer to teach at home as I have two computers and a large working space . I can help students who need extra support with current A-levels or students who are not affiliated with a college or school and need full time tuition.

All my A-level tutees have passed and a high proportion have achieved A and A*.
