I have been a teacher in local secondary schools for over 25 years. In the last few years I have also helped various students with private tuition. I can do some distance working until we are able to meet face to face.

I am able to tutor all Science subjects, Year 9 up to GCSE/iGCSE.

For over 20 years I have worked as an examiner for several exam boards, giving me a good insight into the way students need to structure answers to gain the best marks.

With my increasing Exam work I have decided to leave teaching and focus on the work with the exam boards and one to one tuition. This means I can dedicate more time to producing good quality individually structured lessons.

My tutoring is based around three principles: understanding, recall and past paper work. The focus on the lessons will depend on the needs of the student and building their confidence.
