I`m a Doctor of History, with experience of teaching at University level.I have also been published in peer-reviewed journals.

A specialist in British history, particularly the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, I can also teach European history, social history, and British imperial history.

I can offer help with structuring essays and exam answers, writing techniques, and methods of revision.
My teaching method is to follow the lead of the student, in concentrating upon the areas of their work with which they feel least confident.

I have real passion for history, and enjoy the experience of teaching and discussing history with others, and in helping my students to maximise their potential in exams and assessed work.

Availability: Most weekends.
Occasional evenings.
Occasional weekdays.
