Hello,

My name is Lucia. I am from Spain, where I finished my degree in Journalism in 2013.

For the last 10 years, I have been living in England, working as an au pair (taking care of chidren), as a retail assistant, as a Teaching Assistant all this year while I was getting my Level 2 in Supporting learning and teaching in schools, and as a Teacher.

I have finished my PGCE Secondary Modern Foreign Languages course at Edge Hill University in 2017 and I have been a head of department for languages for 4 years.

I am an honest, responsible and trustworthy individual who is able to adapt to change. I always look forward to learning and acquiring knowledge for self-growth. I am a good listener and a well organised person.

One of my strengths is my commitment to the work I do. I have a passion for helping people to learn new skills.

Experience: I have worked as a private tutor before in Blackpool, helping three students with the GCSE. Moreover, I have helped the Spanish teacher at Blackpool Sixth Form College, especially with the A Level class.

Also, I helped two students of the Master`s Degree in Learning and Teaching of Spanish in Multilingual and International Contexts (MULTIELE) with essential aspects of writing in Spanish and the structure of the thesis.

Moreover, I helped the children I was taking care of while being an au pair. I have experience as a private Spanish tutor and I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in two schools while I was getting my certificate at Blackburn College.

I have also worked in different schools while doing my PGCE and I am now teaching languages in a secondary school in London, being the head of the department for languages.
