Harriet

Hello! I`m Harriet and I am an experienced and enthusiastic primary school teacher of six years offering tutoring to children in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3. I have recently moved to Cotham area to study a MA in Education Psychology at the University of Bristol.

I am able to tailor all lessons to fit with the needs of the child and can offer help with homework and develop their reading skills, writing skills, speaking and listening and mathematics.

I have experience working with SEN and am able to support and challenge children of all levels, adapting the lessons to their individual needs.

Building a positive, professional relationship with my students is of the upmost importance; it is vital that they feel comfortable, safe and happy during our lessons in order for them to make progress and to feel appropriately challenged.

Availability: Due to the flexible nature of my course, I am available most school days, after school and on the weekends.

Experience: Graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in Primary Education.

I taught in a rated Outstanding state school in London for three years and have had a further three years in the British International School in Hanoi.
