I`ve been teaching for over 36 years both in secondary schools and in FE colleges. I have taught students from the age of 11 years to 18 and also Adults. Whilst my main subject is Chemistry I have taught General science, GCSE biology and Physics as well as Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry to Adult students at L3. I have held positions as Head of Chemistry, Head of science, Head of Year for A levels, Curriculum Manager of Access courses. I have never taken a break from teaching.
Furthermore, I have been a personal tutor for the same period of time and I have tutored many students in various science disciplines with success as they have gone on to study Medicine, Dentistry and other related professions.
I like to tutor primarily from home for two reasons firstly because I have resources here at home in four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield but also because it keeps the costs down for the student as I charge for the time spent travelling and fuel costs. I offer a high quality service and I cater for individual needs as I provide bespoke learning to develop the knowledge and skills.
In addition to one to one tuition I am also offering small gp sessions as of the first week in August 2017 at a reduced price. The classes will be for AS Chemistry, A level Chemistry and GCSE in the 3 separate sciences. For details pls enquire. There will also be a separate session for AS students needing help with UCAS application and what it entails.
