Information about Louise
I`m a young female teacher, or I like to think I am! I love teaching and love science. I have got all my previous pupils some fantastic grades and have a 100% pass rate in all my tutoring since I began.
Some of the pupils I have worked with have asked me to be very demanding of them and push them really hard with their studies. Other pupils have required a more relaxed learning environment after they have had a hard day at school.
I can provide either, whatever you are looking for.
Availability: Monday-Friday after 3.30pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for 14 years now. I have taught pupils in secondary schools, colleges and in a special needs school, all from a variety of abilities. I have been doing private tuition now for 13years and have worked with 19 students in that time, including 3 from one family!
I currently teach part time at a local secondary school and so am well up to date with all the current information and specifications on what to teach, and best ways to do so. I love coming up with weird and wonderful ways for pupils to remember facts and always make my tutoring enjoyable for us both.
I can teach Physics, Chemistry and Biology to GCSE.

We have been really impressed with the support that Louise has given to our daughter with GCSE Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Our daughter was unwell most of Year 10 with a school attendance of 28% and had huge gaps in her knowledge that meant that she had lost confidence in all of the science subjects. Louise is very approachable, friendly, and organised - she explains topics in an easy to understand way and has some great fun tips to remember things. In just a few months M has gained confidence, caught up with the other students in her classes and is enjoying science again. Nothing is too much trouble for Louise - she is kind, patient and quickly builds up a rapport with your child, I would definitely recommend her either for one or all of the science subjects.

Louise is a very friendly, approachable and positive tutor, which is just what my son needed. He is quite an able student but finding it hard to answer questions in a way that makes the most of his knowledge. Louise quickly built a good rapport with my son and clearly has an in depth subject knowledge along with an appreciation of GCSE exam requirements. In only a couple of lessons we have seen him become more focused and start to understand exactly what he needs to do to be successful in his GCSEs. Louise listened to what we felt was needed, took everything on board and gave helpful feedback. She is always well prepared and provides or suggests suitable resources. We would strongly recommend her.
