With additional experience in English Language; Politics; Drama/ Theatre Studies

I have worked across all the major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and iGCSE (Cambridge & Edexcel).

I enjoy working with creative students of all ages, who are looking to enhance their subject knowledge and achieve their academic potential in the humanities. In our sessions we will focus on honing your analytical skills and ensuring you can effectively communicate your ideas in both your coursework and in an exam setting.

I also have experience working with students managing an SpLD, who need support in structuring self-directed study at all levels.

I am in the process of completing an English PhD at Queen Mary University London, and I did my MA and BA at the University of Bristol.

I believe in encouraging pupils to take charge of their own learning and to critically evaluate their own work to achieve their full potential. I will support in to improving your analytical skills, honing your exam technique, and structuring your assignments, to attain the best possible results.

Availability: My schedule is fairly flexible and I currently have availability Monday-Friday mornings, afternoons and early evenings. I generally prefer teaching from my home or online.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have 5+ years experience in teaching English, from KS3 to Degree level and am well versed in UK Exam boards including Edexcel, AQA and OCR. I also teach undergraduate students at Queen Mary and am particularly well-placed to support students either looking improve their A-Level grades or those struggling with the transition from A`Level to university.
