Taya Rose

21 year old third year Fine Art and Art History student living in Heaton and studying at Newcastle University. My degree heavily relies upon my love for English Language and Literature as well as Philosophy and Sociology, my A Level subjects. I regularly write both creatively and for my online blog founded in 2015. I love working with children and young people, and consider myself approachable, insightful and personable.

Availability: I have a very lax schedule due to the nature of my degree lending itself to be highly self-co-ordinated. I will thus be free most weekdays and weekends at hours that most suit the client.

Experience: For my formal education,I have obtained 13 GCSE`s at grade A*-C, including A*`s in both in Art and Religious Studies, and A’s in English Literature and Language, Science and Additional Science. I have both a French and Technology GCSE at grade B that I obtained in year 9. After this, I obtained 5 AS Levels (graded A in Art, A in Philosophy, A in Sociology, A in English Literature and B in General Studies) and then subsequently 4 A Levels in Art, Philosophy Sociology and General Studies


-I have since participated in many extra-curricular activities centred around teaching and tutoring
-I have been a personal English and reading tutor for younger pupils at my school since age 15
-When in college, I had work experience as an Art and Design teaching assistant for which I obtained my DBS check
- As of March 2017, I have a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certificate qualification (120 hours extensive)
