My name is Joy. I love teaching English. My aim is to help you to love learning English.

Experience: I have a BA Degree in English/Drama and a Cambridge (CELTA) Teaching Certificate from International House, London. I have taught one to one for several years. I also have certificates in Proofreading and Editing which can be helpful for students who are writing long essays or online content.

I have experienced SATS and GCSE English Exams with my own children and know that this can feel as daunting for the parents as for the children. It looms large on the horizon for a while but blink and you miss the opportunity to improve the outcome, so please don`t hesitate to contact me and get support while it counts.
