I’m a qualified Primary Teacher with over 15 years of experience, including SEN support, phonics, SATs and 11+ preparation. I’ve taught from Nursery to Year 6 and specialise in building confidence, closing gaps, and helping children reach their full potential in a fun and engaging way.

I have been a Primary School Teacher for over a decade, qualifying in 2015, and I have now decided to move from classroom teaching to full-time tutoring. Teaching is my passion, and seeing children grow in confidence and curiosity is what truly lights me up.

I believe every child has the ability to learn and to achieve their best. Each child has a unique approach to learning, and it is about discovering the skills and knowledge they need to help them shine.

I am also a mum of three young children who remind me every day that life is one big lesson. As they grow and learn from the world, so do I. They have taught me that life does not always have to be serious. Having fun is just as important. Education can sometimes feel intimidating or out of reach, but I see it as a tool to help us make the most of the world around us, hopefully with a smile on our face at the same time.

• Wednesdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursdays: 9:00am – 6:30pm
• Sundays: 9:00am – 11:00am

I aim to be as flexible as possible and can sometimes adjust hours depending on your child’s needs.

I offer both in-person and online sessions. These can take place at your home, at my home, or in a suitable public space. I am available for both home-school support and after-school tutoring. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss what would work best for your child.

Experience: I have tutored primary school children for the four years, supporting them in maths, reading, writing, and preparation for SATs and the 11+. My strong knowledge of phonics has enabled children across all primary ages to make clear progress in both reading and writing.

I take time to get to know each child as an individual, understanding their interests and how they view their own learning. This allows me to plan sessions that are engaging, tailored, and motivating. By building confidence in a supportive way, I help children develop the skills they need and the independence to continue applying them beyond our sessions.
