I am a qualified primary school teacher and have experience of teaching both KS1 and KS2 children. I enjoy the challenge of teaching and tutoring and believe that every child deserves to reach their full potential.
I have a 15 year old daughter who is currently in the middle of her GCSE`s so personally appreciate how important it is to establish a good solid foundation of education whilst at primary school.
I enjoy walking my two small fluffy dogs in the local countryside, and have a dwarf rabbit that lives in my classroom and roams around freely.
Availability: I am available weekdays after school and Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Please feel free to contact me so we can negotiate a convenient time.

Experience: I am a qualified and experienced primary teacher and have taught both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I am comfortable in teaching both English and Maths. I enjoy supporting children who are struggling to keep up in the classroom environment and aim to give them skills and confidence to advance their learning.

Mary-Ann teaches our son who is in Year 4. We are extremely pleased with our son`s progress after just a few sessions. Mary-Ann plans sessions in advance, gives plenty of praise and puts our son at ease. He actually seems to look forward to his sessions with Mary-Ann and he has grown in confidence with his maths which is what we wanted.
