Hello my name is Shana.
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher. This experience has enabled me to understand the progress that is expected of children in primary education, which allows me to create various fun, engaging ways of learning that caters to the child`s individual needs.

Experience: I have 8 years of experience in primary education with a range of children and variety of individual needs including SEN and EAL. I have been a class teacher in primary schools for past 4 years and I also have experience tutoing.

Tutoring Approach
I like to use a combination of collaborative and student-led learning. This includes the child working collaboratively with me on a 1 to 1 basis, which will allow the child to apply the skills taught enabling them to gain the confidence to work independently at home and in school. I motivate my pupils by celebrating their individual success and reflecting on their personal growth.
